1. We use ”was” for ”I”, “he”, “she” and ”it”, and ”were” for ”you”, ”we” and ”they”.
2. ”Got” is mainly used in British English and ”gotten” is mainly used in American English.
3. The main past participle of ”go” is ”gone”, but we usually use ”been” for a completed visit (someone went to and returned from a place).
4. “Learnt” is mainly used in British English and “learned” is mainly used in American English.
5. The spelling is the same for all forms, but the past forms are pronounced /red/.
